Creating Data Discs

Start up SwiftDisc Burning Wizard => Section: Data Project

The Data Projects allow you to:

Archive Data to a Disc

Record files stored on your computer to discs, creating and editing the disc contents layout directly. You can record to CD, DVD±R, DVD±RW, DVD-RAM and Blu-ray Discs (available only for the Premium Edition).

Good to know: A single-layer Data DVD holds approximately 4474 MB data (4.37 GB or 4.7 GB, depending on the calculation method).

Burn an ISO Image

Before initiating the recording of files, please insert a disc (CD/DVD/ Blu-ray Disc) into the drive.

Steps to creating a Data Disc:

1. Start up SwiftDisc Burning Wizard.

2. Choose section: Data Project => option: Archive Data To Disc.

3. A list of devices available on the computer will be displayed. There you can check the disk size and verify the disc space availability. Check the box in front of the device where you inserted the disc.

1. Start up SwiftDisc Burning Wizard.

2. Choose section: Data Project => option: Burn ISO Image.

3. A list of devices available on the computer will be displayed. There you can check the disk size and verify the disc space availability. Check the box in front the device where you inserted the disc.

The Data Projects allow you to archive or store files and folders from your computer or removable drives to CD, DVD, and Blu-Ray discs (available only for the Premium Edition). Discs recorded are readable on computers and can be used to access data archived on them.
