Copying Discs

Start up SwiftDisc Burning Wizard => Choose section: Copy Project

Copying discs using the SwiftDisc Burning Wizard is a two-step process:

Step 1: Create Image

The first step is to extract an image of the disc you want to copy. In this step, the information from the original disc is saved to an image file in your computer. You can then use the image in the second step to create a copy of the disc.

Step 2: Burn Image

The second step is to burn the disc image... more 

Steps to creating an image of a disc:

1. Start up SwiftDisc Burning Wizard.

2. Choose section Copy Project => option: Create Image.

3. Select the drive where you have inserted the disc that you would like to make a copy of. Only one device can be selected at a time. You can verify the information about the selected device and the disc space availability. Press the “Next” button.

4. Review the type and contents of the disc which you would make a copy of. Press the “Next” button. For more information, please read the section: Disc Information.

Steps to burn copies from a disc image created:

1. Start up SwiftDisc Burning Wizard.

2. Choose section: Copy Project => option: Burn Image.

3. Select the drive where you inserted the blank disc(s) to make a copy to. Verify the information about the selected device and the disc space availability. Press the “Next” button.

Note: You can select multiple devices to burn multiple copies with the same content and quality in the same session (available only for the Premium Edition).

4. Browse for the image file to be burned. Press the “Open” button. For more information, please... more 

Copy Project enables you to create a copy/backup of CDs and DVDs. 

Note: The Copy Discs project does not copy CSS protected movie discs.
