Burning a Disc Image

Steps to select a Burning Disc Image:

1. After selecting the device (or devices) to which you would like to burn the disc image, navigate to the “Select Image File” screen.

2. Browse to the location where you have saved the ripped files of the original disc created by SwiftDisc Burning Wizard.

=> If you have chosen the "Burn Image" option immediately when finishing the “Create Image” project, the newly created disc image will be selected by default.

=> If you use the “Burn Disc Image” option, you need to select the “Image.sdi” file created at an earlier time.

=> Press the “Finish” button to initiate the burn copy image process.

After the actual burning process has been initiated, you will be directed to the "Progress screen". The burning process will take some time depending on your hardware and the amount of data to be recorded. Please wait until the burning process is finished. Select a device to review the progress of burning on a particular disc, elapsed time, estimated time to complete the recording and the recorder buffer level. For further actions, choose an option depending on the device status, e.g., retry the recording/erase the disc.

Steps to burn copies from a disc image created: 

 

1. Start up SwiftDisc Burning Wizard

 

2. Choose section: Copy Project => option: Burn Image

 

3. Select the drive where you inserted the blank disc(s) to make a copy to. Verify the information about the selected device and the disc space availability. Press the “Next” button. 

 

Note: You can select multiple devices to burn multiple copies with the same content and quality in the same session (available only for the Premium Edition). 

 

4. Browse for the image file to be burned. Press the “Open” button. For more information, please read the section: Select Image

 

5. Press the “Finish” button to start copying the disc. For more information, please read the section: Burn Image.
