The wizard page where you can add files to your project follows the same principle regardless of the project you perform.
The “Disc Content Editor” screen is split into two parts. Use the Explorer Window at the top to navigate and locate the folders containing the data files to be recorded. The window at the bottom contains the files and folders to be written to the disc. Once you select the files, the toolbar between both windows ("Add" and "Remove" Files buttons) will be activated.
Steps to add data files to a disc:
Before adding data files to the compilation, navigate to the place where the source files are located.
Add a folder
1. Select the source folder.
2. Drag and drop the selection or press the “Add” button.
Add a data file
1. Select the source folder.
2. Select the files you would like to copy by highlighting them. Use the SHIFT key or CTRL key to select groups of files with the mouse.
3. Drag and drop the selection or press the “Add” button.
All the folders/files added will be displayed on the compilation screen as well as details about each item.
Create a folder on a compilation disc
Right click in the compilation screen and select “New folder”. To add files to the newly created directory, please read “Add a data file”.
Rename a folder
Right click on the folder’s title. Change the title.
Remove files/folders from a compilation
Select a folder or a file to be removed. Press the “Remove” button.
Review Disc Size
The colored graph indicates the compilation disc size.
For Multi-session recording:
- click on the "New Files" tab to review the size graph for the newly added files;
- click on the "Disc Preview" tab to review the overall disc size graph;
Hint: In case you are using a disc with a different size from the one selected, change the disc type from the drop-down menu at the left side of the compilation screen.
Note: SwiftDisc Burning Wizard allows you to add more information than the contents of a single disc and burn your compilation over several discs. For more information, please read the section: Disc Spanning. This option is only available when you burn files/folders to a disc directly.
When recording the ISO file, make sure there is enough space on the target disc.
=> When you finish adding files, press the “Next” button.
